J. Alberto Lemus leads Atwater Infrastructure Partners with more than 25 years of experience in real estate, social infrastructure P3, telecommunications infrastructure and New Markets Tax Credits. As Managing Partner, he leads the organization and is responsible for all aspects of the firm, including finance, development and strategic initiatives.
Prior to Atwater, Mr. Lemus was a Senior Vice President at Lowe Enterprises, a national real estate firm with $25 billion in assets. Mr. Lemus had multiple roles at the firm, including raising private equity funds (Lowe California Community Fund), real estate development roles and leading the firm’s NMTC and Public Private Partnership initiatives.
Mr. Lemus is a Regent Emeritus at the University of California, where he served on the Infrastructure and Investment sub committees. He has also served as UCLA Alumni Association Board President, as a Board member at the UCLA Foundation, LA Family Housing and as an Advisory Board member to Goodwill of Southern California.
